I downloaded and installed the driveroutine"lj2100pcl6win2kxp2003-en.exe" from HP. Can anyone give some ideas about the problem. Best regards Peter RE: Error messages from Laserjet 2100 LawnBoy (MIS) 17 Feb 06 11:43 That's pretty typical of the PCL6 driver you downloaded. I am now going to see whether I can check whether I have the 32 or 64 bit version and re-install as appropriate. Any other advice anyone? As for the link - I have tried installing the driver that I do not have - but to no joy. It did not seem to load. DO I need to unistall the current driver first? Some older applications don't get along with PCL6 that well. 0 LVL 1 Overall: Level 1 Message Accepted Solution by:lacheur422003-03-13 If you install the PostScript driver, I guarantee that these errors will go away (they are PCL language errors). However, the root cause may be communication errors somewhere along the line, in which case you might get other errors when using the PS driver. If this is the case, you'll need to do a little troubleshooting to narrow it down. Connect it in different ways. Try a different cable. Take it off the network, connect it locally. Try using USB instead of parallel. I've seen these errors many times, and they are usually comm errors of some sort. 0 Message Author Comment by:adhingra2003-03-14 Will try connecting to USB post locally and check the same. 0 LVL 21 Overall: Level 21 Printers and Scanners 18 Me
