The printer is networked and goes through a print server it spools and starts printing immediately. The event viewer on the print server shows the job went through. 0 Jalapeno OP Eric8553 Dec 5, 2011 at 9:33 UTC Have you tried the Universal Postscript driver? I have alot more success with PDF files using Postscript drivers (especially with my HP printers). 0 Poblano OP IdZ-v9 Dec 5, 2011 at 9:36 UTC Usually my first step is to delete the printer from the local PC and re-install / let it download the driver from the server again. If that doesn't fix then I test on other PCs to see if I get the same result from that printer. If I get the same result from other PCs it could be the driver on the server. Ot

RE: PCL XL error DansDadUK (Programmer) 17 Mar 04 07:37 All of the PCLXL errors mentioned above could be caused by one or more of the following:-the application (Powerpoint, etc.) is not interfacing correctly with the chosen printer driver.-the printer driver you are using is generating incorrect sequences in the PCLXL stream.-the stream is being corrupted between the machine generating the stream, and the printer. The brief descriptions in the previous posts imply that the first or second of these are the likely causes. Not sure what you can do other than to check whether there are patches for the application(s), or updated printer drivers. You could revert to using PCL5 drivers, rather than PCL6 (PCLXL) drivers, of course, but this might then give rise t

A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing. The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.Any suggestions from anyone?Kind regards,Luke Solved!
