be an XP Professional PC because of various software packages that this office doesn't want to upgrade. I installed the software and drivers for the Ricoh Aficio MP-C3501 color multifunction printer and installed it as a network printer. Every time it prints we're getting and extra page with the following warning: PCL XL Warning: IllegalMediaSize I tried changing the drivers from PCL6 to PCL5c. This didn't work. I've been looking at the printer

Does anyone have a clue as to what's wrong? Tomorrow when I go there I may try re-installing drivers from this list on the Ricoh site (I already tried the first two, but I'm wondering about the third "Universal" one. Any ideas? A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/PCL-XL-Error-and-other-weirdness/td-p/164 PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing. The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.Any suggestions from anyone?Kind regards,Luke Solved! Everything seems to work (so far) if on the printing preferences advanced tab I set "Advanced Printing Features" to Disabled.Would be nice to know why this causes issues when enabled, especially as by default the driver has it set to enabled when installed! This happens only when print from Navision and switch the tray from the default tray to tray2 or tray3. When we print the same job using the same driver but not using iPrint but to a direct IP port from the XP workstation the error does not occur. It seems as if the iPrint mechanism is changing or adding something to the print job. Are there any ways to suppress this ? I have read posts that a switch to a PCL5e driver solves the problems, but there is no PCL5e driver available for this machine.
