The most common fixes for this error are to: reboot the server and workstations http://support.intuit.ca/quickbooks/goen/SLN41400 or make sure all computers in your QuickBooks installation are running the latest version and release of QuickBooks software delete the QuickBooks network data file (.nd) and re-configure the server To verify the version and release of QuickBooks, press F2 while QuickBooks is running to display the Product Information window. The Product field shows the version and release at the top left of the window.
