I have a client who was working on his system today when the file he was working in hiccupped and I was called in to rebuil the file and restore the back up.. the only problem is that the back up is 1 http://www.qbgarage.com/what-does-error-code-c342-mean/ month old.. the main file shows a c=342 error.. but no GPF. I am wondering what software I can use to rebuild this file as its for a 5 user version of QB 2002 pro. V10. I have looked into ontrack that will not work on this as the file is not deleted its corrupted. I see all of these companies stating they can correct the http://forums.quickbooksusers.com/showthread.php?t=10990 problem and I would have to assume that this is partly or completely software repair.. If it were an Index file that could be recompiled but its not.. so what can I do.. this client is a small business owner with very little working capitol. A quick reply would be greatly appreciated.. Also he no longer has the paper invoices to re input his lost work.. big leeson learned as he will back up daily as well as keep atleast one months invoices.
