Used for 2 days. When I replaced the camera battery with a spare one, and the 32 gb card with the 16gb card, I started having the "no card in camera" error. I tried to put the 32gb card back inside. To me it sounds like your camera needs to go to Canon for repair. You may wish to consider renting a camera for your stay till you can return home and send your camera for repair.http://www.lensrentals.com/rent/canon/cameras/canon-eos-rebel-t2iPHONE888-664-LENS 901-754-9100(I am not associated with this company. I have a couple of 16Gb SDHC cards that I bought for my HP iPAQ (which I no longer use). I thought they would go well with my new Canon T2i [550D] (which I have not https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/2872526 yet received, by the way) since I will need the space to take advantage of the video capabilities. The cards had lots of data on them from my iPAQ so I erased them and popped them in the XSi for formatting. I get a 'Cannot format. Change Card' error. OK, so I pop them back in the PC and do a complete format. They check full and healthy. Back in the camera, I get the same message as before. So http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=853719 back to the PC and check them again. Now they're 0 bytes capacity and 0 bytes available. What gives? I format them again in the PC, check their integrity, and now drag a few files to them as another check. No problem here! Back in the camera the same message awaits. I'm stumped so I come here. I'm thinking I will try a long shot. The card is still in the camera so I fire off a few shots and guess what - it's working fine. The PC says that the obligatory folders are in place and the files are good. (I am now getting a Book Worthy sign so I will end here.) Funny thing this happened to two 16Gb cards. Definitely unreliable. Guess they're toast. LOG IN TO REPLY lippenlippenTHREAD STARTERHatchling5 postsJoin

Memory Card Problem Andy April 2012 edited April 2012 Posted in » Canon T2i Forum Hey @Moose - I just bought a new T2i about a week ago and I'm already experiencing some problems. I have a PNY 32GB Class 10 memory card. When I turn on my camera it says, "Card cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change the card or format card with camera." I've already tried to format the card on my computer and on the camera. Every time I try it on the camera it says, "Cannot format. Change card." I just want to be able to use my camera. Thanks, Andy Comments tc2010 April 2012
