Sd Card For Droid Bionic
23, 2011 12:24 AM My droid x just popped up with a message saying that the SD card was removed... I went sd card for droid ultra to settings to check the SD status and it said it was unmounted... I turned the phone off , took the card out, replaced the card and then when I turned the phone back on it says https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/48555 that the SD card is blank or has unsupported file system... im kinda worried because I had alot of important pictures on there that I need. I haven't tired to load the SD card on my computer yet because I don't have an SD card reader. Is there something I can do connecting the phone with the USB cable? Or is there something else I can do the save the pictures! Thanks! 14698Views Tags: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/481820 none (add) macContent tagged with mac, macContent tagged with mac, droid_xContent tagged with droid_x, droid_xContent tagged with droid_x, blank_sd_cardContent tagged with blank_sd_card, blank_sd_cardContent tagged with blank_sd_card, unsupported_file_systemContent tagged with unsupported_file_system, unsupported_file_systemContent tagged with unsupported_file_system This content has been marked as final. Settings>SD card and Phone Storage Settings>Mount SD card. By the way, if you have your Droid connected to your computer, the Droid will not see the SD Card, however, the computer will treat it as another drive. Click on Computer and you will see your C: drive, maybe somemore letters, depending on your configuration, and a new letter. This will be your SD Card. Here, you will see everything that is on the card. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: droid x not reading SD card georgeb27 Apr 20, 2011 2:10 PM (in response to mortb) I have the same problem with my Droid X's SD card being "blank" or "unsupported file system". It just happened yesterday for no reason. I can't check my SD card on my computer (I have an iMac) as it does not have an SD card reader

When I use the T-Mobile G1 developers Android, I can run the same program in debug as intended. One other quirk. I can download and install an .apk from Android market but I can't download and install the same .apk droid x2 sd file from a web site using allow "Unknown sources". tomb, Jul 20, 2011 #1 Erel Administrator Staff Member Licensed User It runs fine when you uncheck "Project - Attach debugger", and doesn't run fine when it is checked? Erel, Jul 20, 2011 #2 tomb Member Licensed User It will not run in debug until I comment out all references to the SD card. It appears that connecting the X2 to the usb locks out the SD card. It runs in debug until it encounters a reference to the SD card. If the unit is not in Debug, it runs the apk with the SD referrences. tomb, Jul 20, 2011 #3 agraham Expert Licensed User This is not unusual. The SDcard can only be accessed by either the PC or the device, not both at the same time, for Android versions before 3.0. If you don't get a message box asking whether to mount the SDcard or not when you plug in the USB cable to your computer then I expect that it is being mounted automatically, Look in the notification area for some indication of this.
