I think is some bug in kernel. I was looking some solution on web. They say my card

Can you please indicate your laptop's make and model? also if you could run lspci -nn and lsusb and add the output to your post it would be useful. This helps determine which card reader you may have and whether there is a known problem with that model. –roadmr Apr 3 '13 at 20:25 I had a similar problem with a Sony laptop, quite a while ago. It would occasionally go to a state where it would give the exact same error to all SD cards. As a workaround I think reboot hel

Since the last two kernel updates my Samsung 16GB class6 SD card won't get mounted. Dmesg gives me the same error message.I think this is a kernel driver problem, as others have this error too:https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=143486 8#p1118218 sorry for my bad english Offline #3 2012-06-30 22:10:38 Lockheed Member Registered: 2010-03-16 Posts: 1,437 Re: error -110 whilst initialising SD card Try removing and reinserting the card several times. Mine usually mounts once in ever 7 times. I have the same problem for the first time today! For mobile phone, there is no solution other than using older kernel (in some GingerBread ROM) or changing the SD card. For computer, just change the card. I don't think it's worth the trouble trying to solve it in other ways. Last edited by Lockheed (2015-02-14 19:46:08) Lapt

The Arduino breakout board from Intel works with Class 10 cards, though. Not sure if that is usable for your project or not. Like Show 1 Likes(1) Actions 2. mount -t vfat /dev/mmcblk1 /mnt/mmcIf the above mount command doesn't work try:mount -t vfat /dev/mmcblk1p1 /mnt/mmcAlso what is your output from:dmesg -T | grep mmc1I managed to get a Sandisk Ultra 16GB SDHC UHC-1 working by this method. Although not technically a class 10 it is the UHC equivalent.P.S How do I format code in tags? Like Show 1 Likes(1) Actions 3.
