How To Move Pictures From Sd Card To Computer
Friend Report Inappropriate Content 05-24-2011 12:18 PM Lately, I got myself a 16GB micro SD card for my clip+ and for general data transport, but it seems that I can copy nearly nothing to itI put the card into an adapter and stuck that in the SD card slot of my computer, then tried to copy a 5,56GB music folder. All I got was an error window with the title "Error Copying File or how do i transfer sd card data to another card Folder" and the description "Cannot copy file:[blank]".I already formatted the card and I also tried splitting the folders into several separate subfolders and copying the files to the card in small portions, but that just gave me the exact same error message about halfway through the copies.I also had this problem with my earlier 8GB micro SD card in the clip+'s card slot, but I didn't have it with the clip+'s onboard memory. What gives? Your Clip should be in Settings/System Settings/USB Mode/MSC. With that you can just drag and drop files onto the microSD card, assuming the microSD card is good. First try that method and see if the files play. There's one exception to the simple MSC drag-and-drop.If you got stuck with copy-protected files that were made in Windows Media Player's default mode with Digital Rights Misery, you have to send those over through Windows Media Player because it sends over the hidden codes to unlock them. I put your error code into Google and apparently it has something to do with a corrupt Windows installation file. http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/34736-0x80070570-error-code-install-one-easy-solution.... I have no idea why you are getting it with the Clip unless you are trying to do something complicated with Windows Media Player. You might try going to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-media and installing a newer Windows Media Player to get rid of that error. Maybe the driver that picks up the unlock codes got a glitch. Or it may be a problem with the microSD card. If you have a camera, telephone or card reader that can also read that card, or if you can see it in Windows Explorer (Computer or My Compute

I tried to copy a few mp3's from my laptop (win 7) to my phone (Samsung S2 plus, running android 4.2.2) and the load bar didn't even move an inch. Eventually I got an error saying "This file cannot be copied. 1) Try again 2) Abort". The most annoying part is that I backed up and deleted all files (to clean the sd card) an hour earlier, and now nothing works. I tried writing files using usb cable over both MTP and camera mode, without any results. I tried apps on the phone, and still the same error. The sd card is inserted correctly and does not appear to be damaged. I have heard about the kitkat not being able to write files to sd card (like this forum post) but I think that is only for android 4.4. I have been running 4.2 for a while now, and have never faced this issue before. Phone works perfectly except sdcard. EDIT: My phone actually tried to launch a software update, but since I wasn't connected to a WIFI nothing happened, no loading bar and no update was started. 4.2-jelly-bean sd-card file-permissions share|improve this question asked Aug 14 '14 at 8:40 Pphoenix 113115 I'd first check if the Android logs give some clue. If you never read them, please take a look at How can I view and examine the Android log? and our logging tag-wiki to get started. –Izzy♦ Aug 14 '14 at 15:31 @Izzy Thanks for the tip! I checked, and there seemed to be a few corrupt files on the sdcard. Putting it in another phone and deleting those files made the trick. As you mentioned in the comment on the answer below android mounted the card as readonly. –Pphoenix Aug 15 '14 at 6:34 1 Glad to read you were able to solve the issue! I've summed up things in a separate answer, so it might help others in similar situations (and you next time, where the culprit might be a different one). Be welcome to accept it (tick the check-mark next to it), wh
