There are other folders that how to fix kitkat sd card write restriction are set to 755 for security (components, . Site is on shared hosting. You need to switch to a host which will give Joomla full read and write control, or turn on your joomla FTP layer in global configuration, or chmod the directory to 777. Feel free to PM me via the icon under my avatar. Cheers, Mark Mark Simpson Ninja Forge Posts: 6004 08 Dec 09 Hi Mark, thx for quick reply! joomla FTP layer in global configuration is on and working. What else could it be? Cheers, G. EDIT: I get an error when i try and PM you too! :( gravity1 Registered Posts: 6 08 Dec 09 Did you try setting perms on the folder to 777? Obviously not a good long-term solution security wise, but at least try so that we can confirm whether permissions really are the problem. -M Mark Simpson Ninja Forge Posts: 6004 08 Dec 09 Which folder? Most are set to 755 as site was hacked before! Cant risk again setting any to 777. Any other way of working this out? Tnx G. gravity1 Registered Posts: 6 08 Dec 09 Hi gravity1, Don't worry, I don't think there is someone scanning your site 24hrs a day to find a folder with weak permissions. You can safely turn any folder to 777 for a few minutes while you test. The folder is: /components/com_ninjarsssyndicator/feed Let me know if it works at 777. Of course chmod back to 755 once you've tested properly. Cheers, Mark Mark Simpson
Asked and answered before but all the provided solutions don't work for me. I transfered my site to a new host (virtual dedicated server). I open the feed link and I get the above error. I remove the feed1.xml from the feed folder in components/com_bca-rss-syndicator/ and I set the feed folder to 777 as a test. Then I browse to the feed location again and firefox wants to download the feed1.xml and still gives the error "Error creating feed file, please check write permissions." If I check the feed folder it did http://ninjaforge.com/component/ninjaboard/topic/13558-error-creating-feed-file-please-check-write create feed1.xml. That's not right is it? So I download the feed1.xml and when I open it I get XML parse error on line 2 column 1. ^ The source for the feed1.xml starts with:

I just recently made the switch http://forum.joomlacommunity.eu/archive/index.php/t-4438.html from FCP7. Currently using a maxed out top of the line 2014 MacBook Pro 15". The issue: About 50% of the time I save my project, I get sd card a little dialogue box that pops up that says: "Can't copy to file: /Users/Chris/Creative Cloud Files/Premiere Pro/8.0/Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save/[my project name].prproj. Please check write permissions." It's incredibly annoying. I have followed this directory/path and made sure every file/folder is read and write for all users on my 2014MBP. Nothing seems to change. Oddly, it only happens sd card write 50% of the time. What is causing this? Solutions? Strange thing is – it's happening on a project I have been happily saving to for some days now. The only thing I've done in the interim is relink media. Would love to know if anyone has worked this out.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Premiere CC Saving Permission Errorby jonah maddox on Dec 5, 2014 at 12:00:26 amIm getting this too.
