I tried two different cards, both 16gb HDSC, one is a Kingston Class 4 and the other is a Sony Class 10. I've never seen this message before and it ultimately goes away after the first 3 or 4 records. Does anyone have an idea what it means? I'm using the latest firmware and I've been using these cards for over a year without the sd card error message. Slightly strange as the more usual pattern of write speed for a card is to start fast and then slow down a little. Maybe both cards are past their sell by date. You could run an SD test on the cards to see for yourself. Try a new card. mikerb Posts: 1197Joined: Thu Dec 16, 2010 1:14 amLocation: Weymouth Top Re: HD2 Low Speed Card Message by hqh51 » Wed Mar 27, 2013 4:09 pm SWPDave wrote:I have been getting an LCD screen message that says "Low Speed Card". Question is, are these authentic memory cards? You should benchmark these memory cards. Search for CrystalDiskMark, or go here: http://crystalmark.info/software/Crysta ... dex

What happened was, I left it "busy" until the battery ran all the way down, and then charged it again. It seems that this reset it fully. It noticed my "UPDATE" folder on the next power up and proceeded from there. From what I read, holding down the trigger button and pressing power is supposed to be a "hard" reset, but that wouldn't save me from "busy." Only running down to zero power got me out. Thanks again, hope this bug report helps.John View solution in original post Report Inappropriate Content Message 6 of 10 (13,759 Views) 0 Kudos All Replies bschmals GoPro Posts: 330 12-29-2015 06:41 AM Re: busy error Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content Hi Hanna, It's definitely not normal behavior for the camera to stay with "BUSY" on the front screen, this coulddefinitely point toa few things like the microSD card in use not being able to keep up with the camera's writing processes, or even that you might need to reformat the card and do a software update. When does this "BUSY" message appear on the camera? Is it as soon as you power the camera on? Does it happen with or without an SD card in the camera? Please get back to us with what type of card you're using and please try to reformat it either in the camera itself or on a computer (Mac/Windows), then please try to run a manual
