"Modifying informational messages" in the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database Operations Guide. An invalidation file containing diagnostic information when TimesTen invalidates a database. This file provides useful troubleshooting information for TimesTen Customer Support. The invalidation file is created and named based on the value specified by the class="sect1" 9 connection attribute. This connection attribute is not a file name. For example on Linux platforms, if the class="sect1" 8 connection status : failure -test failed: io error: the network adapter could not establish the connection attribute is class="sect1" 7, the actual invalidation file name has a suffix, class="sect1" 6, class="sect1" 5. For more information on the class="sect1" 4 connection attribute, see "DataStore" in the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database Reference. Note: Not all error numbers are currently in use. Retrieving errors and warnings In JDBC, the native error code and message can be retrieved as shown in this example: Example 1-1 Native error code and message retrieval in JDBC private static void printSQLExceptions(SQLException e) { while (e != null) { System.out.println("SQLState: " + e.getSQLState()); System.out.println("Message : " + e.getMessage()); System.out.println("Vendor : " + e.getErrorCode()); e.printStackTrace(); e = e.getNextException(); System.out.println(""); } e.printStackTrace(); } . . . try { // JDBC method calls here } catch (SQLException ex) { ex.printSQLExceptions(); } In ODBC, the native error code and message can be retrieved with the class="sect1" 3 function, as shown in the following example: Example 1-2 Native error code and message retrieval in ODBC #define MSG_LNG 512 SQLCHAR szSqlState[MSG_LNG]; /* SQL state string */ SQLINTEGER pfNativeError; /* Native error code */ SQLCHAR szErrorMsg[MSG_LNG]; /* Error msg text buffer pointer */ SQLSMALLINT pcbErrorMsg; /* Error msg text Available bytes */ SQLRETURN ret = SQL_SUCCESS; while ( ret == SQL_SUCCESS || ret == SQL_SUCCESS_WI

all week and I cannot figure out what the problem is. I'm simply blending lsnrctl command not found two datasources and trying to grab a single measure from the secondary data source. Anyone familiar with this or know of a listener refused the connection with the following error ora-12505 solution? I really can't move forward till I resolve this.TIA I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 2808Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 9 replies 1. Re: Tableau error: Oracle database error 1795: ORA-01795 Kevin Herbert Sep 29, 2014 5:50 PM (in response to danny.lackey) I'm getting this error now as well. Tableau has stopped using a temp table and is putting my set's contents in the sql list and the max in a list is 1000. Why is Tableau doing this all of a sudden. What additional setup/rights are required with version 8.2?I just loaded 64 bit version for 8.2( I had 8.1 loaded) and it used the temp table again. When working with sets I still get the problem. I created a combined set and got the error. Why isn't tableau creating a temp table for sets???? Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. Fix SQL Developer vendor error 17002 Oracle Database Tips by Burleson Consulting December 15, 2015 Question: I was trying https://support.software.dell.com/kb/6569 to connect to Oracle through SQL developer, and I see this error. io exception: the network adaptor could not establish the connection Vendor code 17002 Answer: In your case the "Vendor code the connection 17002" is the equivalent of the ORA-12541 error: It's most likely that your listener is down, or has an improper port or service name. From the docs: ORA-12541: TNS no listener Cause: Listener for the source repository has not been started. Action: Start the Listener on the machine where the source repository resides. Basically, SQL Developer could not find the listener. First check the tnsnames.ora network adapter could file and ensure that it points to the correct server and port. If the Forms server is on another machine, test the TNS resolve with tnsping from the command prompt. Finally, check the listener. # lsnrctl status This should show the status of the listener and the services it is listening for. Remember that when you run SQL*Plus on the database server, it does not need the listener to connect unless you specify the database tnsnames.ora entry. You can use the lsnrctl status command to verify that the listener is down, and lsnrctl start to start your listener. If you are on Windows, also verify that the listener service is running. Burleson is the American Team Note: This Oracle documentation was created as a support and Oracle training reference for use by our DBA performance tuning consulting professionals.
