On your Ting account, I think there's a section where you can check off what your phone's capabilities are: text messages, calls, data, etc. I wonder if you looked on that page if the data section hasn't been checked off/enabled. There are a number of https://help.ting.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203808118-Wireless-Data-Connection-Error things that could be causing trouble with accessing data. Kenya, you're absolutely right that one of them is the settings in your Ting account (in Device Settings, under Megabytes, there's a checkbox for Can access the Internet). You'll also want to make sure that data is enabled on the phone (on an S3 and many Androids it's in Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Mobile Data). There are other things that could be going on such as tower upgrades in your area which can temporarily interfere with data service. If you've checked your settings (phone and account) and rebooted your phone and data still isn't working, we'll be glad to help - please get in touch. Dear friend, The error code "104" is related to data call failure.When the device is unable to establish wireless connection.To resolve this issue you are required to factory reset your Xperia phone.Before factory reset perform data backup as all your data will be wiped.To factory reset the device do the following: Go to settings menu-----------------------> Privacy-----------------------------------> Factory data reset------------------------> Reset phone------------------------------> Now device will restart and Factory reset will proceed.If Factory reset does not help then my friend you need to contact service center as it might be a problem with your device.Hope i helped. Hi friend, The text or call features got corrupted due to some bugs in your mobile..To resolve this software issue,you can do a factory reset..Backup your files before factory resetting..To do the factory reset go to Menu-->Settings-->Privacy-->Factory Data Reset-->Reset Phone-->Tap on "Erase everything"..This will reset the phone settings to default..
