At first we had issues with latency and such. Figured out that if you both have static ip addresses that it will connect perfectly. Okay so! a few days ago i played starcraft 2, (There both on the same PC) and yesterday i went to play my cousin in brood war, all of a sudden i get a message getting into battle.net saying the port 6112 is not able unable to bind to be used or cannot connect it. something of that nature.Does anyone have a solution? JRob 11 posts JRob Ignored Oct 12, 2015 Copy URL View Post Same problem. Help would be much appreciated! AJC 5 posts AJC Ignored Oct 13, 2015 Copy URL View Post Okay here with what we did. After several tries, i had him uninstall SC2. Then we logged onto his router settings. Set his port forwarding to 6112 and set it to UDP packets. Make sure both players have static ip addresses. If you already have one. Try changing it to a higher value. I put his from 75 to 150. His is an AT&T so his router settings has a gaming section. I did the port forward and also selected the starcraft game service for his IP address/device. Then reset adapter and computer. On another try. It worked.Whether or not SC2 was the culprit is still up for debate. Maybe someone can attempt to recreate this and install SC2 after and play. I've not seen any restrictions on the IPs for anyone r
