Vent Server Unable To Bind To Tcp Socket
Threads: 1 Joined: Nov 2015 Reputation: 0 #1 11-09-2015, 05:35 PM Hello, I'm using btguard VPN and vuze unable to bind tcp incoming Vuze is refusing to bind the ip. I receive two errors upon starting up 'ERROR, unable to bind TCP incoming server socket to 80. Address already in use: bind' and 'Enforce IP Bindings' is selected but no bindings have been specificied. If anyone could help me solve this problem I would greatly appreciate it! On working my way through Options > Connection > Advanced Network Settings I noted that my VPN settings were ALREADY set correctly. The new installer has a selectable (on by default) component called "VPN Assistant" (I believe it was). Apparently it works. Otherwise, and perhaps you've already figured this out, you have to specify the binding (eth2 in my case) to your VPN adapter yourself. Look for an IP address that looks something like 10.12.14.169 and enter the adapter name preceding this IP in the "Bind to local IP address or interface" box. "RROR, unable to bind TCP incoming server socket to 80 Adress already in use: bind" I am running Windows 7 http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-Vuze-failing-to-IP-bind-vpn with a netgear Router. The error message generally occurs when I run Vuze software. Any help will need to assume that I am not very computer literate. Thanks in anticipation Moorec, Nov 12, 2009 #1 21Q Regular member Joined: Jun 23, 2006 Messages: 635 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 Not sure what the problem http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/error-unable-to-bind-tcp-incoming-server.709551/ is but any internet browser or web page application uses port 80. So Vuze might be trying to use that port while another program is. 21Q, Nov 24, 2009 #2 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
