If yes, I http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,333211,333236 would appreciate help with the following error message. "RROR, unable to bind TCP incoming server socket to 80 Adress already in use: bind" I am running Windows 7 unable to with a netgear Router. The error message generally occurs when I run Vuze software. Any help will need to assume that I am not very computer literate. Thanks in anticipation Moorec, Nov 12, 2009 #1 21Q Regular member Joined: Jun 23, 2006 Messages: 635 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 Not sure what the problem unable to bind is but any internet browser or web page application uses port 80. So Vuze might be trying to use that port while another program is. 21Q, Nov 24, 2009 #2 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.) I have read the Azureus wiki so much I’ve almost memorized it. Been to Portforward.com. Have set TCP and UDP from 49125 thru 65535. Firewall is on with ports open. Port mapping matches IP address of G5 and open ports. Like I said this set up has been working flawlessly for years. The only thing that has changed is my provider. RCN SF which serves me phone, internet, and TV has changed to Astound. Why, I don’t know. Same TV channels, same phone, maybe it’s my imagination but my internet speed is a hair slower. Used to get 9-10mbs with RCN now I get 6-7 with Astound (what a dumb name). Azureus wiki says to avoid ports 6881-6999 as providers might block these. Could my new provider block ports 49125-65535? Comments and questions greatly appreciated. NAT port mapping protocol enabled at router Error message from Azureus “ ERROR, unable to bind TCP incoming server socket to 55555 Can’t assign requested address” Sorry to bore you on such a beautiful Friday evening.
