Hi web service error All, I recently "upgraded" to RAD 7 from RAD 6 with the intention of migrating an existing EJB web service from WAS 6.0 to Was 6.1. I completely uninstalled RAD 6 before installing RAD 7 and the uninstall/install went smoothly. Currently I am attempting to get the EJB web service working in RAD 7 on a WAS 6.0 test server and am having difficulties. Upon server startup I am receiving a ClassNotFoundException for my ServiceRequestMsg class although it certainly exists. This error is reported as a NonFatalError but it definitely appears to prevent the webservice from functioning. When I make a request to the web service I receive the following exceptions: WSWS3345E: Error: Unable to locate a valid EngineConfigurationFactory. WSWS3142E: Error: Could not find Web services engine. In researching this issue I came across the following problem report for WAS 5.1.1 that appears to describe my exact problem... http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PK60502 Has anyone else experienced this issue or even (ideally) found a work-around or solution? This service worked perfectly in RAD 6 on a 6.0 server but will not work for me in RAD 7 using the same test server version. Thanks for your time. Log in to reply. This is the accepted answer. So I don't know of anyone cares but I figure I'll keep this thread updated in case some other poor soul runs intot he same issue. I'm still having the same problem but have engaged IBM support in hopes of resolving the issue. Suggestion 1: (sort of) In one problem, the exact same WSWS3345E and WSWS3142E messages were repo
