For I long time I did not understand what caused it, and I spend many times on the phone with the helpdesk of my computer manufacturer to solve this problem. Now I have discovered through various postings on internet that it is caused by the Norton registry cleaner. It seems that Norton cleans a registry it should not clean, causing this error message. If you search on the internet, you notice that a lot of people are suffering from this error message in the present and the past (back until 2008). Why doesn't Norton resolve this problem in its product??
