application does not start and the following error message is displayed: “The network connection to your application was unable to launch your application cannot connect to the citrix xenapp server network issues interrupted. Try to access your application later, or contact technical support.” Solution To resolve the issue, complete one of the following procedures: Resolving Licensing IssuesResolving Kerberos Authentication Issues Resolve Licensing https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2014/09/22/citrix-director-trends-explained/ Issues Refer to the Knowledge Center article CTX564283 – Troubleshooting 1003 and 1004 Terminal Server Licensing Errors to troubleshoot the possible licensing issues. Resolve Kerberos Authentication Issues To fix issues related to Kerberos authentication, complete the following procedure: Disable Kerberos on the ICA Client. Set SSPIEnabled = Off in the wfclient.ini file in the \Program Files\citrix\ica client folder and in the http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX115648 user’s profile in the \Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\ICAClient folder. Close and restart the ICA Client. Problem Cause Licensing issues might be preventing the user to connect to the application Issues with Kerberos authentication. The error is displayed when pass-through authentication is enabled on the ICA Client. If explicit authentication is used, the error message is not displayed. Additional Resources RD Licensing formerly Terminal Services Licensing (TS Licensing), manages the Remote Desktop Services client access licenses (RDS CALs) that are required for each device or user to connect to a Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) serverBroker Database would have a new table for maintaining RDS CAL as a key/value pair. On a non-Windows client connection to a TS VDA, if a license is checked out, ICA populates the registry entries. Behaviour on following session events is described below: On Logon or Reconnect: HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensig\ReplicateCache registry key and corresponding nodes under HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensig registry key to check if any of the licenses has same index as RdsCalId. On session audit event: HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensig\ReplicateCache registry key and corresponding nodes under HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensing registry key. For each node under HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensig\ReplicateCache registry key,

In rare situations, the error log will indicate that it could not be installed. In this case, try to install the registry patch manually. The patch can be found at:
Applications are the key to modern business processes, but they do far more than manage back-office tasks like accounting and payroll. Today's enterprises are application-driven, relying on apps for automating and streamlining marketing, customer relations, and so much more. App performance management, therefore, is critical to business continuity and the productivity of many facets of an organization is dependent on optimal app performance. Application Performance Management (APM) tools have been the subject of some debate within the IT industry. With the application landscape shifting to the cloud and enterprise infrastructures now dramatically different than the traditional, APM tools face increased challenges to provide real performance benefits across systems with virtual perimeters, yet these very capabilities are more necessary than ever. Some APMs have risen to meet this challenge, with full-stack visbility complete with diagnostics and actionable recommendations based on sophisticated data analysis. What's more, much of this is completely automated, essentially freeing up an enterprise's IT department to focus on other tasks that enhance revenue, while receiving instant alerts for rapid problem resolution. This enables providing consistent optimal performance without spending hours upon hours poring through line-by-line code and other data to identify potential problems before they become major concerns. Modern enterprises require robust tools that can monitor resources used by applications, correlate that data with meaningful user insights, and align performance with business processes. Many of the following tools go far in accomplishing these goals in a single, central appliance, while others hone in on specific platforms or layers. Whatever your needs, there's an APM here designed to meet your needs. Note: The following 40 APMs are not ranked or rated in order of quality or importance. The numbering system is meant to provide an easy point of reference if, for instance, you're passing it along to a colleague so they can quickly find the tool in question, or you want to refer back later and compare a few tools -- you can do so easily. This list has been created to provide a short list of some of the most comprehensive APM tools available to save you research time if you're frustrated with the constant tedious monitoring and analysis required to keep your applications running at optimal performance. The numbers
