There Are Problems With The Security Certificate For This Site Android Exchange
When I use the browser, every website I visit brings up several error windows saying "This certificate is not from a trusted authority" (if I "continue" through them all I can still access the web pages). When the phone tries to automatically check my email, it gives me an "Invalid Server Certificate" error. What should I do? #1 dsto, Aug 14, 2013 AECRADIO Active Member Joined: Sep 2, 2013 Messages: 369 Likes Received: 25 Trophy Points: 28 Location: Mesa, AZ. Tap the 'Manage Trusted Certificates' menu to access the list of loaded handlers: Then you go to the next section of the same menu to here: And finally: select the appropriate certificate handler/s, or none And last but not least, you have this final menu window to make adjustments in: 'Tap 'status bar'' to access this. You can always make the proper filter adjustments if you need filters, or none at all. These are in the Location & security menu. #2 AECRADIO, Sep 19, 2013 (You must log in or sign up to post here.) I'm accessing it through OWA (Outlook Web Access). With the default settings, when the phone http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/19877/why-am-i-getting-an-invalid-server-certificate-error-when-retrieving-email-eve attempts to retrieve incoming mail, I get an error stating that there is an 'Invalid Server Certificate'. This persists even if I disable the Verify Certificate setting. Why is that? How do I avoid the 'Invalid Server Certificate' error? I do not receive the error if I set 'Use secure password' to Never. But, that doesn't seem too safe. Would that mean my password is sent in plain text? I am not sure if it is specific to the droid x, but even the work item relates to the droid x. If that is the case, I don't know if that is technically an android issue, but a MotoBLUR issue, as the Droid X runs the MotoBLUR version of android. Also, Yes, that is what "Never use secure password" means. share|improve this answer answered Feb 24 '12 at 16:57 R

Re: invalid server certificate yahoo mail droidsw Sep 1, 2011 9:57 AM (in response to johniii) Had the same thing happen with Hotmail from day one with this phone, through two replacement phones, Froyo unable to fetch and GB, multiple resets and re-installing Hotmail. Happens a few times a week. I notice that some emails (presumably those that were kicked back due the certificate) are in my inbox when I check Hotmail on my computer and not on my phone.I have no ideas, just letting you know the same thing happens with Hotmail and it's another of the little "quirks" of this phone that is what it is. Re: invalid server certificate yahoo mail droidxtc Sep 1, 2011 12:00 PM (in response to johniii) I worked around the Hotmail thing by going into Hotmail options > forwarding email, and just forward my Hotmail to my pphones gmail account. Works great, don't know if Yahoo allows this. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. As soon I entered a URL in Android's Google Chrome I was greeted with the error, "Your connection is not private", I was confused because the tablet was brand new and running stock Android 5.1 Lollipop with no additional apps. But anyhow, I managed to fix the problem, it wasn't tricky but it took me a while to fix it. Google Chrome Privacy Error - "Your connection is not private." How to fix Google Chrome "Your connection is not private" Android: Solution #1 - Correct Date and Time Settings Advertisement Grab your Android phone/tablet whatever.
