Right click on Alliance.exe and select 'Run as administrator'. You'll notice that a file alliance.tmp is now created in the C:\Program Files\Alliance directory and the program will actually load and run like the screenshots on their website. share|improve this answer answered Dec 21 '10 at 1:56 Ryan 261 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. I am using: Windows 8 64 bit. JD2 beta current version. Java 7 update 21 I tried almost everything I know and read about. I uninstalled both 32 and 64 bit java and re-installed them back. I did the same to JD2 with out any luck. Changed installation folder to C:\ but no luck. I also went to control panel and changed default setting of jar to 32 once and 64 bit java in another occasions but no luck either. Please help me.
