Unable To Get Value Of The Property 'length' Object Is Null Or Undefined Ie9
vote favorite 1 My problem I'm trying to put a map on a webpage, the data being fetch with Ajax. It works fine with all browsers, but not IE9. I get an error: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'ajax': object is null or undefined and the map does not load. The code var mapModel = new Map(); mapModel.get("leads").fetch({success: function(){ //error on this line var mapView = new MapView({ model: mapModel unable to get property of undefined or null reference ie 11 }); $('body').append(mapView.el); mapView.render(); }}); What I tried This seems to be a very common issue, here is the most up-voted question on the subject. So I tried to put but it didn't solve anything. My question What I should I do to fix this problem? javascript ajax internet-explorer backbone.js share|improve this question asked May 29 '13 at 8:47 LSA 2,99552036 1 Did you include the JQuery? Backbone's fetch() method is delegated to the $.ajax() method. if ajax can't be found on some object, it must be $ is missing. –Hetfield Joe May 29 '13 at 8:53 I wondered about that too. But why does it work in chrome then? –LSA May 29 '13 at 8:56 On IE9 hit F12 and go to the console, type "$". result is? –Hetfield Joe May 29 '13 at 9:03 "$" is undefined –LSA May 29 '13 at 9:08 so JQuery is not loaded, try to clear the cache of IE, and check out the configuration about javascript. –Hetfield Joe May 29 '13 at 9:20 | show 2 more comments 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 5 down vote accepted OK, I found the problem: IE9 was rendering the page in compatibility mode. I added http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16809334/ie9-error-script5007-unable-to-get-value-of-the-property-ajax-object-is-nul was launched yesterday. All works fine but when i go with the mouse to a data point in an area chart (i didn't test on oter kind of chart) i have this error on the console: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property 'd' of null_ (the error is copy from the Chrome console but the issue is also in other browsers). The problem is on that function: dSetter: function (value, key, element) { if (value && https://github.com/highcharts/highcharts/issues/5007 value.join) { // join path value = value.join(' '); } if (/(NaN| {2}|^$)/.test(value)) { value = 'M 0 0'; } element.setAttribute(key, value); this[key] = value; // <--- here }, What i can see is that later some iteration and maybe no the last iteration, the error is throw. The iteration start to happen when the user enter to the graph and the crosshair select a data point and the tooltip should be displayed. I am using highstock without any custom configuration for the pluggin. If i can help in some other way, i will have more time on the weekend, just let it written. Cheers. TorsteinHonsi commented Feb 8, 2016 I'm afraid I can't help you without a live reproduction, please start out with this fiddle and see if you can change it into something that breaks. The error is the following: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'mouseIsDown' of undefined ab.onContainerMouseMove @ highstock.js:185 b.onmousemove @ highstock.js:187 It happens if I hover over an empty graph first and then in every other graph. pawelfus commented Feb 8, 2016 Could you try our master branch? It should be already fixed: http://github.highcharts.com/highcharts.src.js xavadu commented Feb 8, 2016 I can't repr

Then it gives them this error:"TweenLite.as,Line 1 5007:An ActionScript file must have at least one externally visible definition"But when they pass the folder back to me, then it runs fine!?Are we being stupid here? could be.Any ideas what the heck is going on?-thanks!Kellyhttp://www.hurlingdesign.com Back to top GreenSock GreenSock 3,493 Likes (Superhero) 12,479 posts Post #2 by GreenSock , 29 September 2009 - 06:20 PM I bet you used the wrong AS version in your project.
