I couldn't upload image and no error was showing in admin. This was on Joomla updated site to J3.5 and K2 was updated to v2.7 and on online hosting server. I couldn't get this error on localhost on Wamp. I did some digging and found that problem is probably in J3.5, but I'm not 100% sure. I fix that in item.php file (K2 administrator\components\com_k2\models) and alternated lines (around 276-279): if (($files === 0 || $existingImage) && !JRequest::getBool('del_image')) changed to if (($files == 0 || $existingImage) && !JRequest::getBool('del_image')) and if ($files === 0) changed to if ($files == 0) Not sure if this is correct, but after that I could upload image to item and didn't get any error. Before that, I have tested K2 v2.7 on J4.8 and it is working fine online and local - I can upload image. Uploading images on K2 v2.7 on fresh J3.5 install on local server is working as well. Didn't have time to test fresh J3.5 install and k2 v2.7 on online server. Also uploading video is working OK. Maybe someone can check that code if there is not any issue. Thanks. via rss Search Discussions Discussions Categories Tags "Upload Failed" Issue posted in JCE Editor Saturday, March 14 2015, 11:57 AM webstix Offline Hi Team, We recently upgraded the JCE editor to V 2.3.4.4 in our Joomla V 1.5.15 website to fix file upload issue and it is a multi site setup. After installing JCE editor, we tried to install JCE file manager using JCE "install add-ons" but we received an error message as "upload failed". We checked the file permissions and it was written. And we extracted http://www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2-en/45116-solved-image-upload-error-k2-7-and-j3-5 the file manager plugin files and uploaded to this path "/httpdocs/components/com_jce/editor/tiny_mce/plugins/filemanager/". Now we are able to upload the files in our child websites but we are getting "Upload Failed" message in our parent site (SS attached). Please help us in fixing this Thanks In Advance Attachments: Screenshot.png Responses (5) Latest Oldest Accepted Answer Admin Ryan Offline Saturday, March 14 2015, 12:25 https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/forum/upload-failed-issue PM - #permalink We recently upgraded the JCE editor to V 2.3.4.4 The latest version is 2.4.6 After installing JCE editor, we tried to install JCE file manager using JCE "install add-ons" but we received an error message as "upload failed". Do you get an error message when you try and upload an image with the Joomla Media Manager? Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you. [Ryan:] Do you get an error message when you try and upload an image with the Joomla Media Manager? Yes, we tried both Media Manager (Joomla) and File Manager (JCE) and we are facing the same "Upload Failed" Issue. FYI, we are facing this issue only with the parent website and it is working fine in child websites. Thanks The reply is currently minimized Show Accepted Answer Admin Ryan Of
