Unable to find install package" Contents 1 Errors reported 2 Versions affected 3 What is the cause 4 How to fix Errors reported No file selected. Unable to find install package (Note that this error is very generic and can apply to many other issues. This is however the only UI error shown as a result of this issue that affects Joomla 3.4.0 ONLY) Versions affected General Information This pertains only to Joomla! version(s):- 3.4.0 What is the cause Extra security checks for PHP files were added for file uploads in JFile::upload. Unfortunately these were not disabled for the extension installer meaning any uncompressed zip files were interpreted as insecure and therefore not installed. How to fix Ensure that your zip files are properly compressed before installing Apply the following patch https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/6180.patch (this will be shipped in Joomla 3.4.1) Retrieved from "https://docs.jooml

Joomla Error Archive Does Not Exist
just downloaded videobox which I need to get installed. Unfortunately I receive a "Unable to find install package" message error installing component after going through install. I can FTP files and no problem uploading images but I get an error when I use the extension manager in the administrator set up. There was a "tmp"folder that it seemed to be installing into when I had the joomla site on MAMP, but I changed the path to that file and don't know how to change the path to the new tmp folder. Do I need that? Is it an absolute link starting with http:// and my url or a link the server uses that seems to be to be written backwards, or would it just be "/tmp" or "../tmp" to get one step back from where I am?
