Uploading from back end works fine. Can you joomla media manager unable to upload file please help me out? I'm using Joomla 1.5.25 and JCE 2.0.21. The only thing that catches my eye is that there is not specific upload_tmp_dir value set in the PHP configuration - check with your host to see if a value should be set for this. I checked them and I cannot see anything that could make troubles. I'm also using sh404SEF - if you think that this might cause the conflict, what should I choose for configuration? Right now settings for JCE in sh404SEF are default. I've tested in Firefox and Safari, there is no difference. Do you want me to test it from IE and Chrome? If you are conected with "root" user your files will be with user and group permissions from "root". When you acess files in www you can have this problem because your enviroment uses user from host or nobody user.
