Could be extra drivers in the kbe causing the problem. Copy the directories

from \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x86 to your tech station and delete all the sub dirs from the kbox.then go to http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/servicetag/2J1Y942/drivers and download the cab file for the"Dell Command | Deploy WinPE 3.0 Driver Pack" located under systems management drop-down, expand it using 7zip and copy those folders to the \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x86 area and build a new kbe and boot to that one Answered 03/11/2015 by: SMal.tmcc Please log in to comment gerroe 1 year k2000 rebuild boot environment ago This idea fixed it!! thanks!!! I believe the extra drivers were causing the issue, i removed the extra drivers and was able to get it to work, thanks for all the help! WOOT!! SMal.tmcc 1 year ago the video problem was what made me think it was extra "bad" drivers. I have never seen any video problems in the pe mode Please log in to comment Answers 0 Can you give more detail on type of system and NIC? When you download the drivers needed for your nic copy it to either \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\SomeSubDirectory or \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x86\SomeSubDirectory. I create a directory with company name and then create dirs under that for each type of nic (for ex: \\ikbox\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\tmcc\pro1000x64). Copy all the files not just the cat, inf, & sys. the din and dll files are also needed a lot of the times. Once you have the files copied build a new kbe and test it, if it works, set it as default for pxe booting. Drivers WinPE WinPE 4.0 WinPE 4 UPDATED 5/28/2015: This guide gives step by step instructions to the entire process of adding system error 1231 has occurred drivers and rebuilding the WinPE based KBox Boot Environment (KBE) I wanted to make this mini guide because this is a common problem people experience here at ITNINJA. Often times we get the latest, greatest http://www.itninja.com/question/system-error-1231-unable-to-mount-kbox-share-at-ip-address hardware that requires new drivers and a new KBE to get working. People will often get told what the problem is or the rough idea of how to fix it, but little more than that. This just basically throws everything together so that people can find the sum of the parts and for helpful people to link to. I welcome criticism or recommendations to make the guide more helpful. A few http://www.itninja.com/question/kbe-pxe-load-boot-failure-error-guide of these steps link to KACE knowledge base articles that are kept up to date by the staff. So your (new) Dell machine won't finish/start loading the KBE, due to network errors i.e. "ERROR: Unable to mount K2000 share at \\\peinst" These issues are (most likely) caused from missing drivers in your current KBE (WinPE 3.0) To fix these issues follow these steps. How to Build a New KBOX Boot Environment Obtain Your Missing Drivers: Here are the drivers issued by KACE for WinPE 3,4,5 (Includes Most Dell WinPE drivers but not latest revisions) These include very useful drivers besides Dell ones, so it is strongly recommended you get this. You will need to login with your Dell Software Account to download these; the same account you use to download KBOX updates. This KB article will tell you delete everything in your kbe_windows_x64 and ...x86 folders. Obviously if you have custom KBE drivers you uploaded earlier do not delete them.http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=SOL111717 And for all Dell machines, the latest, greatest Dell WinPE 3,4,5 CABs can be found here: http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Dell+Business+Client+Operating+System+Deployment+-+The+.CAB+Files If you use the latest Dell drivers be sure to delete the duplicate Dell WinPE driver pack out of the KACE supplied pack you downloaded earlier.Upload, and re-cache the drivers: This is the easi

It's a Latitude E7270.I go in the K2000 to the driver feed, download the correct drivers for this http://www.itninja.com/question/error-unable-to-mount-k2000-share-at-peinst type of laptop, Windows 7 (x64) and Windows 10 (x64).I recache all drivers and create a new K2000 Boot Environment.i boot into the K2000 Systems Deployment Menu and select the latest boot image I just created. I arrive at the https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28311566/When-imaging-a-lenovo-Laptop-with-Kace-K2000-not-getting-an-IP-address.html Dell Kace Main Menu where I select a scripted installation. After installing the OS (Windows 10 x64), it returns an error when trying to join the domain. I skip this step to solve this afterwards and Windows starts up. But no unable to rivers at all are installed in Windows 10 x64. So, no network either. That's why I got the error when joining the domain. But it worked in the Dell Main Menu when choosing the scripted installation. There he had the network drivers. But they are not installed into Windows.Any idea why?But now it starts:I've copied the drivers manually to the drivers share on the Kace, into the "kbe_windows_x64" folder. And recreated a new boot environment.Still no luck. Once in Windows, the drivers are unable to mount not installed.I removed all drivers from the driver feed and downloaded them again. I even removed all drivers manually from the share on the K2000 (see topic http://www.itninja.com/question/clear-k2000-driver-feed) and redownloaded them again.for most of my laptops the drivers are successfully downloaded, for a few others I got the following errors:Error: Unexpected status code when downloading package (503 ).Error: cURL error while downloading package (transfer closed with 182120525 bytes remaining to read 18).Error: cURL error while downloading package (Recv failure: Connection reset by peer 56).This a new problem which I need to resolve later, since I have the drivers for my laptops I need to install urgently.I recreate a new boot environment, PXE-boot a laptop, choose the latest image from the Systems Deployment Menu, but now I have the following error:ERROR: Unable to mount K2000 share at \\\peinstSo no network drivers at all in this boot image?I recache all the drivers, create again an new boot environment, boot the laptop, choose the latest image and now the screen turn black for a second and it returns back to the K2000 Systems Deployment Menu. The more I try, the less progress I make. Back to the middle ages where I need to install Windows manually from a dvd?Help me please! 0 Comments [ + ] Show Comments Comments Please log in to comment Answers 0 The KBE for the Windows 10 should be created with the native driver pack from KACE KBE Drive
