Any details given? It could be a problem with the download, a problem with the utility, or a problem with the file. If the file is truly corrupt I don't know of any Mac utilities that can attempt a repair. Were you able to figure this out? freakqnc August 21st, 2012 at 5:43 pm Actually did figure that out in the end… that happens when the zip archive is pass-protected and the default utility doesn't pop out the option to enter a password as programs like BetterZip and other do. So the whole problem got solved when I didn't just double-clicked the archive but when I opened it with a program that supported pass-protected archives.
