On your Ting account, I think there's a section where you can check off what your phone's capabilities are: text messages, calls, data, etc. unable to establish I wonder if you looked on that page if the data section hasn't been checked off/enabled. There are a number of things that could be causing trouble with accessing data. Kenya, you're absolutely right that one of them is the settings in your Ting account (in Device Settings, under Megabytes, there's a checkbox for Can access the Internet). You'll also want to make sure that data is enabled on the phone (on an S3 and many Androids it's in Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Mobile Data). There are other things that could be going on such as tower upgrades in your area which can temporarily interfere with data service. If you've checked your settings (phone and account) and rebooted your phone and data still isn't working, we'll be glad to help - please get in touch.
