Unable To Connect To Netflix
when I installed the Netflix application and try to open it it will load for a couple seconds and then an error message pops up saying"there is a problem connecting to Netflix please try again later (13001)" I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting my phone I even did a factory reset in case I tweaked something in my phone that was causing it not to work.does anyone have any suggestions that will make it work? I also called customer service and they didn't have anything. First off, what device are you connecting with so we are all clear here. Also are you getting the error "13001" or the error "13100" for clarifcation. Do you see any other details in of the error? If it's error 13001 try a couple things. 1. Verify that the TIME is correct on your device. If the time is not correct, uninstall Netflix, fix your time, reboot and reinstall Netflix. 2. Try disabling WIFI and using only your cell data connection if you aren't already. 3. Verify your device connection by running a speed test. Make sure it's up to snuff. If none of this works report back. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Reply With Quote 10-10-201203:05 AM #4 jslade28 Junior Member Join Date Oct 2012 Posts 2 I apologize. This version won't start. I get the error "We are unable to start Netflix application. Please try to restart (I3006). I can't find anything on this error. Anyone else see it or know how to correct it? Huawei IDESO S7 (BB version) running Tri_zet's slim rom. Thanks! edit: Talked to Neflix, they said it isn't their error, suggested I call Huawei. Huawei suggested flashing to factory default http://www.netflixusers.com/forum/f28/there-problem-connecting-netflix-please-try-again-later-13001-a-332/ and reinstalling. I re-flashed TRZmod version 3, installed Netflix straight away and got the same error. I then flashed joenilan's froyofusion r2 and Netflix worked. the message "Cannot connect to Netflix. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please visit netflix.com/help on your computer" each time you try to use your Netflix disk to watch http://www.simplehelp.net/2010/04/12/how-to-fix-the-error-cannot-connect-to-netflix-please-try-again-later-if-the-problem-persists-please-visit-netflix-comhelp-on-your-computer/ movies on your PS3, this brief tutorial will show you the answer. Dec 24-25 2012 Update: Netflix appears to be having a system wide outage. None of the troubleshooting steps below will help at this http://www.android.net/forum/lg-ally-apps/64736-my-app-reviews.html moment - the problem is not on your end. Keep trying again until Netflix restores its service. NOTE: the first thing to check is the comment section below. Sometimes Netflix experiences a widespread outage unable to - and even the steps in this tutorial will not resolve the problem. If you notice a large number of people leaving very recent comments saying ‘this didn't work' - it's because Netflix itself is experiencing an outage, and no troubleshooting you can do will resolve the problem. The rest of the time, follow the instructions outlined below (and it can't hurt to confirm them even if you think it's we are unable a problem on Netflix's side). It's actually quite simple, although I wish it was more clearly explained on the Netflix Help Site. You need to adjust the time and date settings on your Playstation 3, Wii or other Netflix streaming device. To do this, select Settings from the Playstation 3 dashboard, and scroll down to Date and Time Settings. In my case, the year was off by one (2011 instead of 2010). From the Date and Time Settings menu, select Set via Internet. You should get a confirmation that the date and time set were completed. And the date and time will now be correct :). Now run the Netflix disc again - and this time the process will go through smoothly, and you'll be watching movies/TV shows in no time! If you're not using a PS3 and are experiencing this error, make sure the Time and Date settings on your device (Wii, Boxee Box etc) are set correctly. Aaron I can't believe I found the answer to the problem so quickly, thank you so much for posting this! You have got to be kidding me! The app uses the super bright camera LED, and it works great on the Motorola Droid and Milestone. New Version (3.0): Includes status bar notification when light is turned on. Permissions: Hardware Controls (flashlight) Comments: The only thing this app does on the Ally is turn a light bulb from white (off) to yellow (on). It does not access the camera LED on the Ally. You can get more light from just activating your screen. If they ever fix it so that it does access the camera LED, you would have a very powerful flashlight. Permissions: Location, Network Communication, Storage, Hardware Controls (camera), Phone Calls Comments: This game works by scanning barcodes from two different products. Each product will display a different beast. Once they are scanned, you click on Let Battle Commence and the two beasts fight. The fight is nothing more than some text that scrolls until the battle is over. IE: Sniw strikes Crilla with his Swoard for 29 damage. I like the concept and the developer promises that a multiplayer version will be coming soon but the game has a lot of bugs in it. It crashes 7 out of 10 times. Results: Waiting to see if any updates will fix the crashes and wanting to try the multiplayer version. ------------------------- Category
