Bob The Great New Member Member I recently switched to Tomato (using AdvancedTomato 2.7-128), and am attempting http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php?threads/openvpn-server-connection-difficulties.71296/ to configure the OpenVPN server. I've been using these guides to help me through the process, but I am unfortunately unable to connect to it. [links removed due to board restrictions. I'll add them below http://www.edugeek.net/forums/network-classroom-management/24580-vnc-cannot-connect-host-connection-refused-10061-a.html after 3 days and 2 posts.] I successfully got my server keys generated per the above instructions, and the server starts up fine. For simplified testing purposes, I have it set up to allow unable to usr/pwd authentication only, with no client keys. I'll expand to use client keys later. It only happens when the remote machine isnt logged on. If the machine has a user logged on VNC connects fine. I cant figure out why I can VNC to the login screen on some, and others it just dumps me out with that error and not display the login screen. Try logging onto that machine and trying to vnc again and I bet it works. If you find a solution im dying to know.
