I dont know when the update stopped working. I recently installed Office 2010 and a Logitech cam. To check if these were problems I uninstalled the Logitec cam and use Acronis to go back before Office 2010 to Office 2003 and the error still occurs. Updating Microsoft Security Essentials is OK. Looking at Internet Explores and going to widows Update there is a reference to ActiveX need to be added but I don't know how to???
