Windows Update Error 737D This is a discussion on Windows Update Error 737D within the Windows 7 , Windows Vista Support forums, part of the Tech Support Forum category. I have a failing Windows Update "Security Update for SQL Server 2005 SP2 (KB948109)" with error code 737D. I have tried the Windows Update support team and they say it's probably an SQL problem, so they can't help other than tell me how to stop trying to install the update. I'm more concerned that I may have an SQL problem. I have some strange behavoir, like when I try to open a file I often get told that the file can't be found, but when I try second time, it's okay. Could this be related to SQL? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
days. It downloads, but i get the error code 80070026 after the attempt to install. I have tried to install in safe-mode(saving to my desktop), but it won't allow that operation in safe-mode. This update was successful in dec. '09, but i read that they re-released in march because of some problem that was found. Would they use the same kb number for a new update? Anyway, it shows up as a successful install in december, but now it keeps calling for me to install. Anybody have an easy fix? I'm no computer guru, so i don't like messing with the registry.
