Everything worked fine on local machine, but when 500 error iis log I tried to access any Drupal page from any remote machine, I always got 403 error. I've tried all possible 500 error iis 8 things with permissions, but nothing helped. I was even able to access statiс pages I created in Drupal folder, but not Drupal content. The solution was pretty simple. You have to disable ALL custom 500 error iis 7 errors for ALL users. You can do this from the IIS7 Admin tool by running “Start>Run>inetmgr.exe”, selecting your website/application/virtual directory in the left-hand tree view, clicking on the “Error Pages” icon, clicking “Edit Feature Settings” action, and then selecting “Detailed Errors”. Once the configuration is finished you can remove the write access to that file. I'm sorry about this. Can you try this with Apache on Windows to see if it works? My server configuration is identical to yours (Server 2008, IIS7, etc.) Looking at the error message at face value, isn't it complaining about a missing resource? If the path returned in the error message is absolute, wouldn't it be looking for panels at "domain.com/panels/ajax/ ..."? Obviously its going to fail since that path doesn't exist under a panels installation. Log in or register to post comments Comment #3 luf CreditAttribution: luf commented March 6, 2

I installed a drupal 7 500 error instance in a subdirectory of my webspace. When i access mydomain.com/drupal I get an 500 Internal Server Error: "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred." nothing more, nothing less. When i access mydomain.com/drupal/index.php the site works fine except the /drupal?q= syntax which is not rewritten properly (index.php?q= works fine). I hoped if i transfer my installation to my wwwroot the problem would vanish but instead less works. Now I can't even access mydomain.com/drupal/index.php 500 error iis (resulting in 500 aswell). Since the iis is hosted by my internet provider i can't configure the Settings nor can I access server logs. I tried playing with web.config including httpErros errorMode=Detailed" passthrough and other stuff but all I get is that damn 500 Internal Server Error with NO Information. If the web.config is invalid xml syntax I get a proper Error page reporting that the syntax is incorrect, so it seems the web.config is parsed but somehow ignored. Do you have any ideas that could help my case? Thanks Edit: I forgot to mention i tried setting access rights to execute as well as read and write for web.config and index.php but didn't change a bit. php asp.net iis drupal drupal-7 share|improve this question asked Nov 2 '13 at 21:02 drame 140212 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted Seems the web.config shipping with Drupal 7 caused the problems. I found this article and used the proposed web.config as stated there and now the homepage works fine. http://www.iis.net/learn/application-frameworks/install-and-configure-php-applications-on-iis/install-drupal-on-iis share|improve this answer answered Nov 3 '13 at 12:19 drame 140212 And there was obviously a problem in the ISP's server Configuration. They fixed it somehow. –drame Nov 11 '13 at 12:04 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Goog

I cannot find any detailed logs or anything. However, when going to PHP Manager for IIS and click check config, I get the following error: Detailed Error Information: Module FastCgiModule Notification ExecuteRequestHandler Handler PHP55_via_FastCGI Error Code 0xc0000135 Requested URL http://domain.com:80/brkld3ip.php Physical Path drive:\sites\domain.com\brkld3ip.php Logon Method Anonymous Logon User Anonymous I installed PHP using Microsoft Web Platform Installer 5.0 on a fresh install of Windows Server. I am new to IIS coming from Linux. So I am not "learned" enough in IIS to know what's going on. I have tried updating C++ redistributable 2012 update 4 as a couple websites suggest. Anybody have any other ideas? EDIT: Another thing I checked was memory limit. One site suggested my memory limit needed to be upped. No change.
