The site started displaying a 500 server error. And reinstalls have not worked. I contacted Dreamhost and they gave me this answer: "I've checked into why you've been receiving these internal server errors, and it seems your scripts 500 error have been getting automatically killed by our Process Watcher due to your sites going over Memory limits on the shared server" This also came with a suggestion to delete unused plugins. I don't have any. The site is large, but not astronomical (I believe it has about 150 pages.) Any ideas as to what's going on? Any suggestions? At this point I can't do anything modx upgrade 500 that they suggested. Thanks! 09-13-2011, 09:51 PM Post: #2 edialedarb Dreamling Posts: 1 Joined: Sep 2011 RE: Modx - 500 Internal Server Error Hello, I was wondering if you ever found a solution to this problem as I am having exactly the same issue where sites have been working for ages and now I get internal errors within the manager. 09-14-2011, 04:09 AM Post: #3 ejvf Dreamling Posts: 2 Joined: Jan 2011 RE: Modx - 500 Internal Server Error Yes, I did. There was a table in the database that was corrupted. You should be able to track it down in the error log. I did a clean install and imported the ModX database without that table. I'm sorry I don't remember many more details. « Next Oldest | Next Newest » View a Printable Version Send this Thread to a Friend Subscribe to this thread Forum Jump: Please select one: -------------------- Private Messages User Control Panel Who's Online Search Forum Home DreamHost -- DreamHost Announcements -- Suggestions Customer Discussion -- General Troubleshooting -- Beginner's Forum -- Curious About DreamHost? -- VPS and Dedicated Servers -- DreamObjects -- DreamCompute -- D
