Have you tried passing the URL around to other people to try, to see whether they see the same problem? Have you tried examining the filesize (via an ftp client perhaps), after the problem has started occurring, to see whether it has in fact changed size? Could you post the URL to the file which is showing the problem for you, so we can see whether the same happens for us? I made a Unity3D game back in January of 2011. I no longer have the original source files for the game, but I do have the compiled http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/15119/unity-player-bad-file-length.html webplayer.unity3d file. However, nowadays when I try to view it, it gives a "bad file length" error. Since I don't have the original files anymore, I cannot recompile it. I have to get it to work the way it is, or not at all. So please, don't ask for my source files, I don't have them anymore! A possible cause for this error may be in the fact that I renamed the file's extension once. I had renamed it to http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/656959/bad-file-length-error.html webplayer.zip. The reason is that my server, back in the day, didn't support .unity3d files, so I had renamed it as a .zip file to get it to work. I honestly don't remember if renaming it to a .zip file had made it stop working, but I'm pretty sure at the time, renaming it to a .zip file had solved my problem. Obviously now that it's giving this error, I renamed it back to .unity3d and even tried .Unity3D, and neither made any difference, I still get the error. Now, bare in mind, I first saw this error several years ago. I simply haven't complained about it till now, because now I wish I could go back and see the game again. Please be aware that I've downloaded the files (the html and the .unity3d) to my hard drive and attempted to load it on my own drive. It still give the error. So this is NOT a sever issue with "packet loss". It doesn't run on my hard drive either. The page where this error occurs: http://behealed.brinkster.net/webplayer6.html I assume this error is caused by a unity3d web player update that must have come out some time after I created the game, which broke my game. So I've tried with all my might to install an older version of the unity web player. But even when I download older versions of the unity3d web installer, i
