this computer from (cyberpowerpc) to have already taken care of that. One night I shut off my computer, and the next day I turn on my computer, it boots as it normally would: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3IMpMn9WWo the computer gives one beep, and I receive the logo message. But then, I receive this message:Code: [Select]Warning: MAIN BIOS CHECKSUM ERROR!

I really don't understand the problem. The only thing that I haven't tried is replacing the battery, which I am planning on going over to CVS and buying one tomorrow, but I really don't think the battery is the issue since I've only had this computer for 2-3 months.I've tried to be as detailed

Hey guys. I got a fairly new computer, about 2 weeks old. It's been working bios checksum fine since about a week ago when ATI released the 8.9 drivers. I had previously been using the drivers (8.5 i belive) from which i got from the CD with the gfxcard. Atleast it was then when i started to notice the twice reboots when starting up. One beep, always and then a restart. 2 days later i had to access the "last known good configuration" to boot it. I did a clean uninstall of all gfxdrivers, when none drivers bios checksum error applied it booted fine. I reinstalled 8.9 and the first boot always goes fine. The times after that it kept booting twice or more before it would eventually start up. And i was feeling that something was coming.. Yesterday on boot it restarted about 5 times, i tried to boot it through last known good configuration, but first time it didn't work. Second the try got through. I did a backup of all, and shut off once again. Started, and ''WARNING: Backup bios checksum error'' came up. It just looped at that stage, reboot and same message. Reboot, yea. You get the point. And i cant use keyboards! I wanna go into the bios setup menu which is impossible. I've been hitting the Del key until my face turned blue. I've read some on google for solutions, first i tried to remove one stick of ram, to leave just one. Didn't work. Second, i cleared the CMOS using the jumper. Didn't work, now i got a ''bios Auto-Recovering'' on startup and ''WARNING: Main bios checksum error!'' I can't still enter the menu (bios setup) which i must to complete the procedure of the CMOS clearing to load the default settings.
