You should also ensure that the libmysql.dll assembly is installed and can be found in your PATH variable. If you need to find it again, it can be found in the MySQL5.X zip distribution in lib\opt share|improve this answer answered Dec 23 '09 at 8:57 jamiei 1,27121523 thanks for reply mate but didnt worked for me i got this error unable to find procedure getSQLDriverMYSQL50 –learn Dec 23 '09 at 10:19 Hi learn, This sounds like a new problem specific to the Open-source drivers. If this doesn't help, than get another version of libmysql.dll file. share|improve this answer answered Dec 23 '09 at 8:54 Yurish 75811941 Note that the same goes for other libraries that libmysql may depend on (e.g. zlib or some encryption lib) –Marco van de Voort Dec 23 '09 at 9:41 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Delphi 7 is shipped with mysql 3.x drivers. I've never worked with Delphi-MySQL (I've done a Delphi-Interbase program, but it was on the same machine) Should I use DBExpress for this, or it is there a better way ? Where can I download the latest version of DbExpress for MySQL for Delphi 6 ? Any web site would greately be appreciated (french, Italian and English). I've already readed: The Delphi Magazine Issue 88 (December 2002) Thanks for helping.
