& paper towel to absorb the ink in those little sponges. It worked for awhile (1 or 2x) Then error message again. I looked in and canon pixma mp600 driver it looked like the sponges had moved...I tried to figure out how to disassemble the printer so I could get in there. No luck. Then I found this forum, and it sounded like trigger (or somebody?) could help. I turned the printer on the see if the carriage was still moving back and canon pixma mp600 manual forth and guess what? The printer was ok!Then I printed one page and was cropping etc. to print another page and by the time I was ready to print, the error message was back. Put the lid down plugged in and switch it onif that doesn't work thenTry cleaning the sponges.The “sponges” are 2 hard pieces of absorbing plastic or something of the like. The "sponges" are located on the right under where the ink cartridge carrier "rests". Usually because of so much ink , it will be darkuse a pen tip popped both “sponges” out and rinsed them with water and check that they were once again white.
