issue getting a Compile Error in hidden module: CTDServer. From searching online, I found a fix from HP which involves selecting an OTA COM library in a Reference List under the VBAProject table for TDExcelAddin.XLA. The instructions tell you how to find this in Excel http://eyeontesting.com/questions/3447/how-to-view-tdexceladdinxla-in-excel-2010.html 2003 by going to Tools, Macro, and the Visual Basic Editor. There you have access to TDExcelAddin.XLA I cannot find this ability in Excel 2010. Can anyone tell me how to see this in the 2010 version? Sometimes the OTA COM library is not selected and that can lead to your error. To get to this in Excel 2010, and for 2007 as well, follow the below steps. Be sure you have the Excel add-in installed already for your version of QC. First we need to enable the Developer tab in your Excel 2010. On the File tab, compile error in choose Options to open the Excel Options dialog box. Click Customize Ribbon on the left side of the dialog box. Under Choose commands from on the left side of the dialog box, select Popular Commands. Under Customize the ribbon on the right side of the dialog box, select Main tabs, and then select the Developer check box. Click OK. For 2007: Add the Developer tab to the ribbon. Click the Office button, and then click the Excel Options button. Click. Customize Ribbon on the left side of the dialog box. In the Popular category on the left side panel, select the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box from the options that appear and then click OK.Under Customize the ribbon on the right side of the dialog box, select Main tabs, and then select theDeveloper check box. Once the Developer Tab is visible, click on it and you will see the Visual Basic editor to the left. Also note the Macro Security link there as well, if you need to edit those settings. Click on the Visual Basic editor to the left. This will open a new window. On the left side you will see the VBA Project list. Below should be the VBAProject (TDExcelAddin.xla). Click on that. You will be prompted to enter a password. The default HP password for this is tdtdtd. Once entered, you should have access to the files beneath it.
