Compile Error In Hidden Module Mac
custardmite custardmite Members 1 posts OFFLINE Local time:11:52 AM Posted 15 September 2007 - 06:57 AM Hey everyone,I'm new to the BC board and I'm hoping some kind genius out there can help with my poorly PC.It's a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop running Windows XP Home. The problem seems to have appeared out of nowhere.Every time I boot up I get an Application error message on the the 'welcome' screen that reads-svchost.exe - Application ErrorThe instruction at "0x75d0059c" referenced memory at "0x00000001". the memory could not be "written".Click on OK to terminate the program.Click on CANCEL to debug the program.I've tried clicking on both options but nothing seems to happen. Then Windows loads as normal (although painfully slowly) and a window appears saying -Dashboard Module has encountered a problem and needs to close.Now when I use the PC a lot of programmes crash and I can't connect to the internet without crashing. My Norton anti-virus software is telling me that '1 item is affecting your status', but when I try to run a full system scan, it also crashes.Everything seems to be running much slower than usual.I've tried running disk cleanup, system restore and a defrag but nothing seems to get rid of the mysterious (and
