The first part, remove the PDFMaker.* files, was on the MS support site. My Office Startup Folder didn't contain either of those files to begin with. I did the Repair option under the help menu but, that wasn't the cure. I wonder if it had something to do with my uninstall of v7 before my install of v8? I'm going to uninstall and reinstall v8. I tried following Microsoft's advice: Method 1: Download the latest version of the add-in for Adobe Acrobat 5.0...but I have Acrobat 9.0 and I downloaded an update for that and it still gave me the error.Method 2: Move the files (pdfmaker.dot and pdfmaker.xla)....but I don't have either of these files on my system. It also says it could have to do with Norton Antivirus but I don't have that either.Anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.
