Macros (if it is a 'macro' that is causing your problems) exist in Documents or Templates. When you start Word, one or more Templates are loaded and it is likely that the troublesome macro is located in http://www.office-forums.com/threads/compile-error-in-hidden-module-azwizardmodul-how-do-i-fix-it.1651072/ one of them. I suspect that what you want to do is remove the template but the trick is finding the right one. They are listed in the Templates and AddIns dialog which is available off the Document template Button in the Developer tab in the Ribbon (if you don't see this tab go to Office Button > Word Options and check the "show developer tab" checkbox). The Dialog will list your templates and you will have to use instinct to decide which one is the Avery one. The Dialog isn't big enough to show you the full path but, by default, it will probably be in "C:\users\(userid)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup" (in XP, IIRC, it is Documents and Settings\(userid)\Application data\Microsoft\etc). Close Word, go to this location, and delete the template. If this doesn't help can you give some more information - how you installed and what does show in the templates dialog, for example. -- Enjoy, Tony "GMM" wrote in message news:... > Terry, > > I have the same problem. Solved Az Wizard modul problem in Word 2010 Posted on 2012-04-03 MS Office MS Word 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 2,933 Views Last Modified: 2012-04-04 Hi All I tried installing an Avery Wizard in Word 2010 but after finding compile error it was (a lot) more trouble than it was worth - I tried removing it. I've also tried repairing Word and uninstalling it and re-installing - I still seem to have the same problem.. Every time I now start Word 2010 I first of all get the following message: Word cannot open this document template .....$Wiz12s.dotm (i've tried removing it from the Templates but it seems to keep coming back) Then I get compile error in the following message " Compile error in hidden module" AZ Wizard modul Then when I try to use the QuickParts - I'm first told they are not available and then if I keep trying they are there...it's an annoyance I would like to sort at this point! thanks 0 Question by:agwalsh Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 13 Best Solution byStacy Brown You may have some sort of temp file still hanging out that is causing the issue, are you viewing all your file types?
