standalone 4.0.28 with Word 2011 on a https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/51419/word-2011-error-compile-error-in-hidden-module-link Mac (OS X Yosemite). I successfully synched zotero standalone to my old library, but zotero and word seem to be having trouble http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/624819-excel-mac-compile-error-hidden-module-latticemu.html communicating. Whenever I try to open word I get the following message: "Compile error in hidden module: link" When I try compile error to insert a citation I get the following error message: "error in loading DLL" Has anyone experienced this or can anyone help fix it? I am stuck and in need of being able to cite and generate bibliographies again. I tried installing the compile error in word plug in again (from the Preferences in zotero standalone) restarted word, restarted the computer but that doesn't help. Thanks in advance... Simon August 27, 2015 First, check if there are Word add-ins besides Zotero in the startup folder. This is usually located at /Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/Startup/Word. If there aren't, something related to Visual Basic for Applications may be corrupted. In that case, check here. If those steps don't work, you may need to reinstall Office. This was always a problem due to VB macros, until Office 2011 dropped and solved the problem. However, now I've got a new one. Recently I began getting the error "Compile error in hidden module: LatticeMU." At first I thought this an error in the latest round of spreadsheets being sent to me; I've discovered it's not. This message will pop up *every* time I click on a field. I can click 'ok' and continue working and it seems to be fine but to say it's a hassle is an understatement. Any notions on how to resolve this bugbear? Cheers!
