problem. Terry Farrell, Nov 29, 2007 #2 Advertisements GMM Guest AZWIZARDMODUL Terry, I have the same problem. I installed an Avery address macro which is not compatible with Word 2007. I can't uninstall it. Just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Dell and they were of no help. Any help will be appreciated. Macros (if it is a 'macro' that is causing your problems) exist in Documents or Templates. When you start Word, one or more Templates are loaded and it is likely that the troublesome macro is located in one of them. I suspect that what you want to do is remove the template but the trick is finding the right one. They are listed in the Templates and AddIns dialog which is available off the Document template Button in the Developer tab in the Ribbon (if you don't see this tab go to Office Button > Word Options and check the "show developer tab" checkbox). The Dialog will list your templates and you will have to use instinct to decide which one is the Avery one. The Dialog isn't big enough to show you the full path but, by default, it will probably be in "C:\us

Remove http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/Word/microsoft.public.word.application.errors/2010-06/msg00009.html this template from the startup folder. Below is the location where you would find this file: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Template. This is more awkward than it was in 2003, but click on the Office button, click on Word Options, and select the AddIns tab. In the dropdown at the bottom of the tab, select Word AddIns (it's probably pre-selected by default) and click Go. This will take you to the dialog that you used to get via Tools > Templates and AddIns, from where you can disable or compile error in remove the guilty. Was this answer helpful? 00 · 02/21/2012 05:53 KeithCorbin It appears you have installed an Add-in (this could be a template add-in or a COM Add-in) that is incorrectly programmed. In order to test this, hold down CTRL when starting Word: the message should not occur. Think back about what software you have installed prior to when the error message started appearing. Uninstall that software, then contact the vendor about the error message. The vendor will have to correct the software. If you're unsure what it might be, you can look in "Word Options", under "Add-ins" to see what's listed there. After researching it i finally ended-up going to the AVERY website and downloading their latest templates download. Be sure to close everything else especially WORD. After download open WORD again and you should see the AVERY section. Click on it (the symbol) and then the Wizard will pop-up and you take it from there. Its pretty self-explanatory. You may have noticed that when you opened Word (after doing the download) that you didn't get that warning pop-up you used to get before, OR at least i pray that's how you found it. Anywho, hope all is better now. Take care. Was this answer helpful? 00 · 12/10/2012 04:54 Add Your A
