I've solved my other problems but this one is killing me. 1. When trying to install Kismet for wireless traffic analysis, I received the following error after having run the "./configure" command: ------------------------------------------- checking for initscr in -lcurses... no configure: error: Unable to find libncurses or libcurses -------------------------------------------- Ok, so i figure (and have read on other forums) that maybe i need ncurses.. so I go pick up ncurses-5.4 and try the "./configure" command again. This time i get: ------------------------------ ** Configuration summary for NCURSES 5.4 20040200 bin directory: /usr/bin lib directory: /usr/lib include directory: usr/include man directory: /usr/man terminfo directory: /usr/share/terminfo ------------------------------------ So I run "make" and get this error: ----------------------------------- /bin/sh: line 1: -I../c++: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [../objects/cursesf.o] Error 127 make[1]: Leaving directory ' /root/ncurses-5.4/c++' make: *** [all] Error 2 ---------------------------------- Any ideas? I'm going nuts here.. does it have something to do with a missing directory? And how can i remedy this? Thanks. Reply With Quote 10-06-2004 #2 jeremy1701 View Profile View Forum P
