Connection Error Socketexception Unexpected End Of File From Server
searching for solutions on the internet but have found nothing that works. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Also, the tracker I use is a private tracker.http://imgur.com/FyDyFuRhttp://imgur.com/EOMOQfghttp://imgur.com/dx4R7Om Comments OmniNegro June 2015 Posts: 4,013 I would start by deceasing the MTU the client uses on eth4 to 1400. You can adjust it later to a higher, but still less than 1468 rate, and will likely have to try many different numbers to get it perfect. Or you can just leave it at 1400 and be happy. laoink June 2015 edited June 2015 Posts: 3 I would start by deceasing the MTU the client uses on eth4 to 1400. Thanks for the reply OmniNegro. I changed the MTU to 1400 and I still have the error. Im not even sure what the error means. Could it be tracker side? Perhapsthey are not letting me connect because I am on a different IP due to the VPN than I was before? I already pm'ed one of the tracker moderators before installing PIA and he gave me the ok use a VPN so I'm really not sure what is going on with this error. And all the Ethernet interfaces if you use Wifi. Then you should ask yourself if you actually have a use for IPv6. The VPN does not support IPv6 due to privacy concerns, and upwards of 90% of the entire Internet has exactly zero support for it too. And of the few sites that can use it, almost all also support IPv4, so I suggest killing IPv6 entirely.Presuming you use Windows, I can tell you step by step how to disable it, but this must be done for each and every interface you have, and then there are the pseudo interfaces used for IPv4 to IPv6 transitioning. If you kill off IPv6, then you can entirely eliminate them as well. To do this, open an Administrative Command Prompt and type the following three commands, one at a time."netsh interface ipv6 6to4 set state state=disabled undoonstop=disabled""netsh interface teredo set state disabled""netsh interface ipv6 isatap set state state=disabled"Follow this by a reboot to make it actually work. And yes, they can all be rever

I can do the public trackers fine though. The entire error message is Connection Error (SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server). I am using a school network that blocks the download of .tor files, and I use a proxy https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/17737/trouble-with-vpn-setup-for-vuze to get around that, but I'm not sure if it affects the connections on Azureus since, as I said, the public trackers work fine. So, let me hear you thoughts on this Seanohue, May 8, 2008 #1 varnull Guest public trackers use DHT.. private trackers only accept connections through the tracker. It is probably a proxy issue. varnull, May 9, 2008 #2 maanit Member Joined: Jun 3, 2008 Messages: http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/azureus-socketexception-unexp-eof.640121/ 9 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 i have the same error with demonoid recently.. it used to work perfectly fine till about last week.. and all of a sudden it stopped working demonoid forums are down so i cant even ask this there.. any help is appreciated.. i am able to download from all other trackers! and DHT is disabled on my azureus... should i enable that? maanit, Jun 3, 2008 #3 onehand86 Member Joined: Jun 5, 2008 Messages: 3 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 I get the same error as well... Surprisingly, this is probably the first forum post I've seen about this problem recently. Connection Error: (Socket Exception: Unexpected end of file from server) This ONLY happens to me w/Demonoid. It started about.. hmm.. a few weeks ago? I can still connect with some peers via DHT, but this bypasses the tracker I believe.. onehand86, Jun 5, 2008 #4 Mez Active member Joined: Aug 12, 2005 Messages: 2,872 Likes Received: 3 Trophy Points: 68 Are you all using Comcast or Cox? They are using a AI app that attacks torrent nodes. It has been not very effective until rescently. This week it has 'learned' some nasty tricks. I was crippled Sunday and killed last night.
