However, I cannot activate it and have been told by Ting support that sometimes these phones just won't work. What?? Is this phone supported or not? Things I've tried: - Carrier wipe, many times - Factory reset (twice) - Enter MDN, MSID manually - Get new MDN/MSID I saw at least one person needed manual intervention/cooperation with Sprint: https://help.ting.com/entries/23612498-Beware-Galaxy-S3-IS-NOT-Fully-Supported-Phone-New-Customer-Not-Happy- Any ideas? Do you know if the original owner rooted or modified it in any way? Please let me know, and if it hasn't, I will email you the steps to do a manual reset. If it has been hacked, please restore it to factory settings before we can do any troubleshooting.
