If you see "Connecting ..." then the iCamSource is unable to communicate with the iCam Broker Server, and is either being blocked by firewall or security software on your computer or your network. If you see "Connected to Server" then the iCamSource is able to communicate with the iCam Broker Server, and most icam w9 wifi password likely the iCam Login and Password combination entered into iCam does not match the one entered into the iCamSource. If you are able to connect when you are at home but you receive the No Sources Found message when you are away, make sure that your computer isn't configured to go into Sleep or Hibernate mode after a period of inactivity. If your computer is asleep, the iCamSource will not be actively running, and you will not be able to connect. Problem: Unable to connect when iCam is connected to the same local WiFi network as the iCamSource Solution: If you are seeing the "Broker Connection Error" in iCam and your iCamSource has the words "Connecting ..." in the title bar after clicking the Start button then your local network is most likely blocking outgoing UDP communication to the Internet. If you are seeing the "Source Connection Error" in iCam then there is either some firewall or security software running on your computer that is blocking the incoming connection from iCam to the iCamSource or you have multiple routers on your netwo

should "just work" but if it doesn't, try these 14 things.... of which, I've tried all. I made sure everything has permission to go thru firewall. I forwarded ports in the router (I think). My

home, but no where else. Here's my "common sense dilemna" I can use Teamviewer or LiteManager and work on my home computer from icam account work... no port forwarding necessary, no static IP address needed. Why would this program have so much difficulty connecting when the remote access program has none? That's really only the tip of the iceberg on my questions, but http://skjm.com/icam/help/troubleshooting.php it bugs me more than the others at this time. Thank you so much in advance for sharing your knowledge!! wilsontp 2015-03-19 15:47:27 UTC #2 twitcher: Here's my "common sense dilemna" I can use Teamviewer or LiteManager and work on my home computer from work... no port forwarding necessary, no static IP address needed. Why would this program have so much difficulty connecting when the remote access program has none? That's because TeamViewer has a server somewhere https://discuss.howtogeek.com/t/there-has-to-be-a-way/26378 on the Internet that both of your computers connect to. Since both of your computers are making outbound connections, there are no issues with your NAT router. Programs that don't have a system in the middle like this are going to require port forwarding. My guess is that you either have not forwarded the correct ports on your router, you have not assigned your PC a static IP address, or you aren't connecting to the right external IP address with your phone. twitcher 2015-03-19 22:56:22 UTC #3 Thank you for responding wilson! The iCamSource, which is the computer portion of the program, has "connected to server" as it's status and I finally figured out how to do a screenshot of my phone to show what the phone does. Any clue what is happening in the virtual world here? Thanks!! wilsontp 2015-03-19 23:16:29 UTC #4 Is there any way you can get a larger image? that's unreadable. twitcher 2015-03-19 23:41:05 UTC #5 Sorry.... it says: Source Connection Error One or more of the iCamSources returned by the iCam Broker Server could not be connected to. wilsontp 2015-03-20 00:02:54 UTC #6 sorry.. that doesn't help much. Basically, you need to go through the port-forwarding steps again. remember there are a few things to check: Your PC must be on a static IP address. Here is how to do this in Vista: http://www.colorado.edu/oit/tutorial/static-ip-con
