Kyocera Error 3101
configured to scan to email using a local Exchange server. The thing works fine except kyocera transmit receive error 2202 on a few occasions when it prints out an error that says "Error Type : Transfer" with no real details about the
Kyocera Connection Error (0x2102)
error. The funny thing is that the scan to email job sends through just fine. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Do you have a fix? We've ignored the error mostly, but it happens frequently enough that it's kyocera connection error (0x4803) an annoyance (and waste of paper). For some reason Kyocera decided to not print that kyocera connection error (0x1102) on the error sheet that prints out. Most likely the Server is responding with a message the Kyocera is interpreting as an error. Does it seem to matter if its an internal or external email address when the error occurs? 3 Poblano OP finalbowser Mar 24, 2014 at 8:30 UTC Gold Key Technology Solutions is an IT service provider. have some strange problems with my Kyocera FS 1118 MFP, that is with the scanner module, when I try to scan-to-email: since about a month ago I receive more and more often the error code 2202 when I try to
Kyocera Connection Error (0x1101)
scan to email any document (doesn't seem to matter the complexity of the document). The kyocera scan to email error 1101 FS-1118 is connected to the LAN through a network cable, and viewd by the computers as a network printer (of course through it's static
Smtp Connection Error (0x2101)
IP: 192.168.0.202 ). I said it's a strange behaviour, because if I retry one-two times to send the same document to the same email address it works eventually (most often it just works at the second retry). When I https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/462515-kyocera-cs-3050ci-scan-to-email-error-but-it-still-wok got this 2202 error, the mail server that gets the FS1118's request to send to email shows me this error: [192.168.0.202] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA The mail server is, of course, a Linux box that serves now only this send requests from my FS-1118 (it doesn't serves anymore as a mail server for my LAN -- the MTA is sendmail). What's beeing even annoying is that error page that gets printed by FS-1118 everytime http://www.printerforums.net/threads/kyocere-fs-1118mfp-error-code-2202.58925/ when it have an error (and since this 2202 error occurs more and more often, I loose lots of paper sheets only to this error report ... and this drives my crazy .. such a useless waste of paper...) Can anyone guide me what should I try to get this error fixed ? I don't think this could be really a network problem (as it's been suggested by the Advanced Operation Guide manual), since it works just great on other uses: never missed a printer job from any computer in the LAN, never had problems when managed it from the web interface (from my desktop computer). Should I consider the scanner module to be faulty ? corneld, Jul 9, 2010 #1 Advertisements Show Ignored Content Want to reply to this thread or ask your own question? I connection error have tried a Yahoo and a Gmail account and get the same results. The GUI has options for POP and SMTP settings. SMTP info entered and I get an OK result when I hit Test. My issue is with the POP settings. I enter the settings (see screenshot), hit Test and get Transmit/Receive Error (0x2202). On another page I have SSL enabled but I have tried every conceivable combination of settings. I have tried doing an kyocera connection error email from the machine and get a send error. I have tried power cycling the machine as well. 0 Question by:Cole100 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byCole100 I found using the company handling my email server (Sherweb) for my website I was able to get this function to work. It looks as if you must have "POP before SMTP" enabled. What happens if you turn that off under Authentication Protocol? 0 Message Author Comment by:Cole1002014-07-23 I have made yahoo and gmail accounts for this purpose. my first post was using yahoo now i have switched to gmail. I have tried all combinations of Auth Protocol. After much googling I found turning POP off and using server aspmx.l.google.com on port 25 i am able to send emails from my Kyocera to other gmail address' only. I would of course need to be able to send emails to any address. with the standard smtp.gmail.com I get an OK on the test but it will not actually send anything. 0 Message Accepted Solution by:Cole1002014-07-23
