I've seen the other posts about this but nothing in them has either solved the problem I'm having or ignited a lightbulb connection refused error that helped me solve it myself. {plugin: WP Whois Domain Socket 111 Error - Connection Refused {plugin: WP Whois Domain RobWord @robword 7 months, 1 week ago Hi I am not a coder. So am lost!! I have a site that needs to have a search function for domain registrar data. I need it to display all the data. I found WP Whois Domain that should do what I want, based on it's demo. However, when on my WP install on GoDaddy it returns a Socket 111 Error Now, I have called GoDaddy and all the standard ports are open. I played with their port allocation to 80 instead of the 43, and it didn't cause the error but didn't return any results. Two things: IS there a fix to this error? And if not: Does anyone know a working WhoIs plugin or javascript that returns a full WhoIs listing data? You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
